In Los Angeles, Mario and Chantal Spanicciati designed a serene family retreat near the Santa Monica Mountains, blending traditional charm with modern elements. Architect Bobby McAlpine created a home with a focus on views and intimacy, featuring a carriage house, guest cottage, and tumbled stone main buildings. The interiors, designed with Ray Booth and Molly White, incorporate Old World and contemporary styles, including Belgian-designed bathroom hardware and door handles from Van Cronenburg. Christine London's landscaping complements the design with native grasses and a kitchen garden, creating a tranquil, nature-connected environment for their four children.
