In a stunning transformation of a historic San Francisco home, AD100 designer Nicole Hollis has infused the residence with an eclectic blend of influences: Grateful Dead meets Burning Man meets Marrakech meets Victorian opulence. Originally a Colonial Revival–style house from 1897, the interior was reimagined by Hollis to reflect her clients' bold tastes, incorporating psychedelic elements, Moroccan design, and contemporary art. The result is a vivid and extravagant space featuring custom bronze hardware, glow-in-the-dark stenciling, and a range of avant-garde furnishings and artworks. Hollis's daring redesign maintains the home’s historical essence while celebrating its countercultural legacy and the clients' vibrant personality.
